24hrs in our life....

Friday night we put our girls to sleep in their first of MANY matching PJ's. (The plus of having two girls). They needed plenty of rest before our crazy 24hrs of highs, lows and in between.

We woke early to find that both of our vehicles and a few neighbors had been broke in too. By some twisted -awful planets aligning in the worst kind of way-luck, Coach had left his work money in a bank bag in the car. All of it taken. If some bratty teenagers were looking for some CD's they hit the jack pot at our expense. Our small town is not as cute as I thought. Very LOW point.

After an early visit from the police, which Tink was very thrilled with...we then got everyone ready for a 9:30am soccer game for The Kid. He played EXCELLENT, which made up for the cold and early hour. How cute is the baby as a bunny! How about how Tink and The Kid appear to love each other. High point...plus in the middle for the chill.

The Kid's first Gatorade Ad.

We then headed to our Relay for Life event. Our family has an awesome Relay team and we host the coolest events. (In our opinion). We hold a co-ed softball game every October, which is breast cancer awareness month. We had hoped for a little sun and had a slightly lesser turn out...but still had a successful day. Thanks to everyone who donated and played! For sure, an High point.

This is my nephew, Number One, he is not special...just a little odd.

The Grey team smeared the Blue team. You will notice from their team picture they were taking this game a little more serious from the get go...plus no one on the Grey team had 'just one pant leg up'. Love you, weirdo. (yes...just typed the word 'weirdo'.)

The Commissioner and Jackie hosted our after party. As always someone has to be dared into doing something (typically this village idiot is my husband) and this gag was the 'Can you swallow a spoonful of cinnamon'. Number Two joined Coach and suffered the most. Not the first time we have done this, unfortunately, probably not the last. Go ahead...try it. Little bit high...little bit sad.

We had a very pretty fashion show hosted by the children and then a fascinating play, with several acts. Little high...little long.

Just another run of the mill, 24 hours in our life. The entire family is asleep before 10:00pm and I am off the join them. This family is nearly as exhausting as they are wonderful.

i was very angry at first that I couldn't make it home for the game, then I woke up to snow Saturday morning and decided the day was better spent in bed anyway
