HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRU STORIES!!!

Hello, blog world. This is Coach. (The butt of her jokes. Don't believe everything you read.) I am stepping in to do a birthday blog for none other than Tru Stories.

I thought(she told me)since Tru Stories writes all of these nice, sincere, sometimes a little sarcastic birthday blogs, she deserves one of her own. Since I have a great background in writing(none at all), I figured I could knock one out with some of my own creative writing(by just copying her style).

I tried to find songs lyrics to describe the wonderful things about this woman. I searched, I do know a lot of music. I had some trouble.
I tried to find a song that could describe her ability to throw a party. Tru Stories can throw a serious party, whether it be a killer fundraising Relay for Life bash where everyone dresses up crazy, a kids birthday party with millions of fairies running around or just a house party to make you think you're in college again. Whatever the party, she goes all in, and if you have not made one, it should be on your bucket list.

It is awfully hard to pick a song that can describe the feeling when she gives you a smile. As many of you know, she does not give them out to just anyone. Sometimes it is difficult to find, once its out it brightens up any room. I once said, she is hard to win but easy to love (this is where Tink gets it).

She can kill with a smile, she can wound with her eyes
She can ruin your faith with her casual lies
And she only reveals what she wants you to see
She hides like a child, but she's always a woman to me

She can lead you to love,
she can take you or leave you
She can ask for the truth, but she'll never believe
And she'll take what you give her as long it's free
She steals like a thief,
but she's always a woman to me

Ohh... she takes care of herself
She can wait if she wants, she's ahead of her time
Ohh... and she never gives out
And she never gives in, she just changes her mind

She's frequently kind and she's suddenly cruel
She can do as she pleases, she's nobody's fool
She can't be convicted, she's earned her degree
And the most she will do is throw shadows at you,
But she's always a woman to me

Our children love you.
If I knew nothing else about you, that would be enough.

You are the chocolate to Coco's milk,
the Peanut Butter to Tink's jelly,
Sam Wise to The Kid's Froto,
and the Princess Leia to my Han Solo.

And just for the record, its still stupid.
Happy birthday.
Holla,
Coach

She's got a mouth.

Dang, I can hardly get my morning started with all my Facebook wishes, 2 Bday Blogs and many Texts! I am feeling a little bit emotional with all the love. Seriously. Thanks.

Mom- your post was great, I appreciate that you are trying to get me up to 21 Comments, just on your own. It's like you always have to extra love that shy-dorky daughter.
Also, I actually really love the song Coach picked.

Coach- Great job. I know you stressed over it. You can take at least one full year off of the computer now. Like you...

General Public- the VERY best part of this 'Coach Posting' experience was how long, he giggled after typing 'PMS'.... he is funny. At least to himself.

Happy Birthday Tru Stories, great job Coach. Thought you were a lot like your Dad until this blog. The last comment brought me back to reality. He does truly love you Tru Stories, I can see it in his eyes. Have a great day! Coach's Mom

The line about the kids loving you and that being enough? My God, how did you not break down in hysterical sobs at that line (because I'm not even married to guy and that was my reaction). Luckily he brought back the funny with the PMS line. Holla back, Coach, that post was awesome.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TRU STORIES! Here's hoping you're not snowed in, any flowers delivered to your house arrive alive, and someone magically presents a cake from Janet's just for you to enjoy.

Mrs-
The line about the kids loving me?? It's stolen and re-written from a movie, Coach and I lamely watch, nearly every time it is on TBS.
Can anyone name that movie??

i shamelessly google'd it & nothing came up, but your blog was #4 on the hit list. you really are going Hollywood.

Happy birthday Tru Stories. Please tell us what movie that is from or I won't be able to stop going through what movies TBS plays all the time. Also, I'm sorry I didn't go to yoga or Willy's, just got home. I'll make up for it next weekend.

Cath, thanks for the B-rabbit shoutout, that was awsome, Sphinxhol, Tru Stories does believe that we act like 12 year olds sometimes, Andrea, thanks for the recognize of the set-up, and the Mrs., maybe I heard that line before, it was said from the heart.

I have a Birthday coming up in Feb, and if it stays up for more than 2 hours I hope to have more than 2 comments...crossing my fingers coco doesn't make big potty in the toilet, or Coach and The Kid don't have any stimulating conversation at dinner on the 11th. Screwedhol
