Sunscreen for Everyone!

Today, Flag girl moves into her new awesome house. While the others were moving, packing and lifting heavy stuff, I volunteered to wrangle the children.
I snatched up kids left and right to create a day of Sun and Fun. We rolled down the windows, cranked the Ke$ha and turned the van into a Dance Party Rave. Hey, some Aunts knit blankets, while others blare inappropriate songs and rock out.
First, we ventured into Wal-mart for brand new swim suits for all.
It was mentioned, not everyone needed a new suit.
Our Ke$ha answer to that:
Blah, Blah, Blah.

We grabbed pools, sprinklers, bubbles, squirt guns and water balloons...turning Tru Stories, into a Water Park.
The pictures, speak for themselves.
The Kids and I, had a wonderful time. I absolutely, had the easiest and sun-taniest job of the day.

Congratulations, Flag Girl.
May your new home fill to the brim with
love, laughter and memories.
And with children as beautiful as these, in your life...that should happen pretty quickly.

why is Coco naked?

Sorry...she was a last minute late afternoon addition to the pool and by that time, the water was already gross and dirty anyway!
Plus, we are kinda trashy.

The Kid's face and the last pictre of number whatever. Those are my favorites. Those are kids loving the water. That is how pools make me feel. Perfect summer day. Beautiful kids, nice family. Flag Girl may your new house be filled with much love and laughter. Do not need to wish you good luck. Karma is going to fill your life up with happiness!

What a group of cute kids. Unfortunately, I was slightly distracted while admiring the beauty of the kids & your awesome camera. Because you know what's NOT cute? Brown pool water.

Ok...First, those of you who have lived in our town, are very aware that our water is slightly discolored. Add, the fact that the 6 children climbed IN AND OUT, IN AND OUT nearly 1,628 times...leads to not so pretty pool water.

People who do not live in our town. Haven't you noticed, everyone here has bottled water. It is not because we are yuppies. Our water comes out of the tap yellow. Really! Townies did not even notice anything odd about the water color. We call that normal.

I should have remember the less-than-clear water issue with my hometown. Funny how you forget some things. One winter I had a nice orange streak running down the back of my very blonde hair courtesy of the rust content in the town's water.
