to be sitting at a computer.
We have been Cute-ing up Our Corner hard-core. It's been ridiculous. Staining decks, chopping down trees, hanging awesome signs, building window boxes, digging up bushes, laying stepping stones and planting, planting, planting. My back is aching and if I see Coach, in his Ugly Outside Man Jeans ONE MORE TIME... I may lose my (normally SO reserved) pleasant demeanor.
Per usual, our rule-following children, have been perfect angels, throughout the process.
Not to mention, a tremendous help.
They have gotten So Bored, they carried chairs outside, just to pretend to care.
Coco, is a buzzing worker bee... happily tasting the flowers and randomly smearing dirt on her face.
Being filthy, is so very exhausting.
Even so, the yard seems to be slowly turning, the Cute Corner. Pat on the back to Coach and I.
We are officially 'this close' to not being the trashiest house on the block. High Five!

Don't beat yourself up TS,Grandpa TS purchased land on the wrong side of the street, how was he to know the the grass grew greener, the children tamer, the cars have less dents and tape, beer doesn't chill on the porch,a place where pavement and concrete replaces gravel delivered in a grain truck. Where beautiful young girls throw lavish pool party's,and dreams really do come true. So Tru Stories, put down your tiny shovel, take the curlers out of your hair, and take a dip on Sunday in a pool that has a little less pee......than the north side.
I'll bet on that side of town, they even pay to truck-in unyellow water, from other towns, to fill their pools.
Your Grandma would be so proud of all that you and Coach have accomplished inside and outside of the house. Rome was not built in a day. Your beautiful yard will get where you want it to be.
Total pileups!
